At 5* promotion, she shoots double the bomb bolts per shot for four seconds following ult which contributes a large part to her dps. I have a guide video for Jalapeño which explains her rotation as well :)

Of course! Kohlrabi has kind of fallen off compared to other cookies, but he’s really easy to use and definitely has enough damage with the right supports. I would recommend using Candy Drop + Blackberry, as alchemist doesn’t synergize well with BB. You should be able to follow the same general guidelines in the guide for how to dodge the attacks, and remember to pay special attention to where the pylons are shooting out the aoe ice crystals.

My plan is to cover lemon zest and pesto before moving on to every character in release order, so DC should be done in about 4 or 5 guides :)

Both TBD and Moment of Awakening give substantial elemental damage %, so thankfully the hidden power rolls won’t change with honeybear’s release since those were best in slot equipment. (other armor/artifact sets did prefer one or two elemental dmg rolls without honeybear taken into account) At 5 star promotion, I saw very slightly better performance with 1/1/4/2 over 1/0/4/3. Either should be fine, but I would recommend 1/1/4/2 just to squeeze a tiny bit more out of the frostbite effect 😊

My reasoning for this was mainly based on the overall scaling being lower. The reason we’re seeing higher dps in the sheet despite this is that, in my specific analysis, the bomb bolt shots coming out a few frames sooner allowed them to align better with the buffs. This won’t always be the case as the buffs will have some slight offset in practice, and I don’t think it would consistently line up in that way. The second and arguably more important reason is that it is much easier to throw off the counts on the 2 bar rotation. The timing is a lot tighter to get 7 shots out, so if you incorporate a dodge or skill, you may need to only go for 6 which can easily throw you off.

The stats each armor set gives which can be rolled for with hidden powers are a bit different, and this changes the optimal hidden power rolls. My damage calculator spreadsheet has a tool that I used to find the optimal hidden power sets which are shown in this video. In short, mermaid grants no attack% rolls which are very valuable on that set due to the large amount of flat water attack given by the armor. Crit damage happens to be the next stat that is worth sacrificing to gain that extra attack% and balance the stats out a bit.

I have been busy recently with a big overhaul to the backend of my sheets, but I’m finally getting around to working through the backlog now. I just uploaded a video for Jalapeño, and she of course pretty much needs suspicious hunter lol. I will say my current focus is on single target dps, so there may still be things like labyrinth and guild war to consider.

Thank you! I was inspired to make it when I first opened the old damage calculator and realized how long it would take me to figure out all of the numbers I needed to do proper calcs lol. I just hope people don't start using the character optimizer and think it's giving the best set for overall dps 😅probably should have been more clear about that in the vid haha
